The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) is creating a Regional Active Transportation Plan (ATP) to guide the development of a safe and highly functional network of facilities for pedestrians, cyclists, and other non-motorists throughout the region. This plan also presents an opportunity for community members to share local knowledge to help identify active transportation challenges and opportunities.
The NJTPA invites you to share your feedback on this important topic by participating in both the online interactive webmap tool and the public survey via the ATP link. Your input can directly inform how the ATP addresses locations where pedestrians, cyclists and other non-motorized travelers encounter safety problems, missing connections or other travel barriers.
Please take a few minutes to share your perspectives about walking and biking in the region and extend this invitation to your network contacts so that any interested family members, friends and colleagues can do the same. The interactive webmap and survey input window will be open through October 31, 2022. Thank you in advance for your participation
