VOUCHERS REQUIRED

VOUCHERS CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 11 GREEN ST., FROM WED, MARCH 8TH THRU WED, APRIL 19TH  

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY, 9:00-11:30 AND 1:00-3:30,

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENINGS  5:00-6:30 PM.

  PLEASE BRING PROOF OF RESIDENCY.

(DRIVER’S LICENSE, SEWER, GARBAGE OR TAX BILL)

A voucher system will be used. A voucher entitles residents to bring:

  1. One vehicle: car, SUV, van, or pick-up. CARS and SUVS with a trailer require only 1 voucher

2) Pick-up trucks or vans with a trailer require 2 vouchers

RESIDENTIAL ONLY

NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES ACCEPTED

(NO DUMP TRUCKS, ROLL-OFFS)

Deliveries are to be made to the Warren County Landfill, 500 Mt. Pisgah Ave, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm and Saturday from 7:00am to 11:00am. Only property owners are entitled to receive these vouchers.  You may pick up your voucher beginning March 8, 2023.  Bring proof of residency to the Municipal Building, 11 Green Street Monday, Wednesday or Friday 9:00-11:30 and 1:00–3:30, and Tuesday or Wednesday evening 5:00-6:30 PM.

EACH VOUCHER MUST CONTAIN THE RAISED SEAL OF THE MUNICIPALITY. PHOTO COPIES OF THE VOUCHER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

PERSONS REQUIRING ASSISTANCE:

Property owners with disabilities or age 65 and older may call the Township (908) 453-3098 Option 6 (DPW) NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19to arrange for pick-up.  If there is no answer, leave your name, address and phone number.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE LANDFILL:

When you arrive at the scale house, you will drive on the scale to be weighed.  The attendant will take your voucher and confirm residency and then direct you to the dumping area.

Drive to the designated area where you will unload your own vehicle. EACH VOUCHER MUST CONTAIN THE RAISED SEAL OF THE MUNICIPALITY. PHOTO COPIES OF THE VOUCHER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Children MUST remain in vehicles at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Return to the scale to be weighed out.

WHAT YOU CANNOT BRING:

  • Hazardous waste      
  • Truck or auto parts
  • Household batteries
  • Auto batteries
  • Explosives
  • Drums of any size                    
  • Asbestos
  • Pesticides
  • Liquid wastes
  • Gasoline
  • Paints (of any kind)
  • Computers or other electronics           

WHAT YOU CAN BRING:

  • Household junk
  • Furniture
  • Scrap metal
  • Wood
  • Lawn mowers (with all fluids removed)
  • Appliances (washers, dryers, dishwashers)

NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOWNSHIP CLEAN-UP: Freon-containing appliances, such as air

Conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers. However, the landfill will accept these items for a

$15.00 CHARGE (per item). Doors must be removed.

THE LANDFILL WILL ACCEPT TIRES FOR A FEE

$2.50 FOR CAR /SUV TIRES without rims UP TO 22”

$5.00 FOR Commercial sizes without rims 22.5” TO 24”

$10.00 FOR FARM EQUIPMENT TIRES without rims 24.5” TO 50”
