The Warren County Mosquito Commission is now accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Assistant Inspector. The position runs May- August, Monday through Friday from 8-4. Interviews are taking place now. Training will take place during Spring break, late winter or at the beginning of the season depending upon the successful applicant’s schedule.
The position entails inspecting larval mosquito habitats within Warren County, setting adult mosquito traps and responding to resident service requests. Training for this position will be provided, which will include obtaining a NJ Pesticide Operator or Applicator license.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and have a background in Biological or Environmental Sciences. This position starts at $15/ hour.
